Shreditor
A full featured software editor for the Shruthi-1 DIY synthesizer. Beta version is on the way.
The editor facilitates bidirectional communication with the device to keep all data synchronized. The eeprom of the device is mirrored in the software to minimize transport and allow for quick editing and backups. Multiple devices can be edited / switched in parallel from just one editor application.
I have had to alter the firmware of the Shruthi synthesizer to make all different functions possible, but they are adopted by Olivier in the official version. *All* settings including system and sequencer and be controlled from the editor. So there really is no need to touch the device anymore. It even allows you to build the Shruthi without the display and other UI controls. More on that later.
A M4L version will also be available. Since the editor is using its own internal midi port to handle all midi/sysex data, it can bypass the midi restrictions currently imposed by Max For Live .
